This project showcases a selection of print and visual communication materials created for the maritime industry. The work includes technical illustrations, instructional graphics, diagrams, safety visuals, problem-solving illustrations, and other informative materials used to communicate complex maritime topics. My focus was on combining strong visual design with technical accuracy to make information easier to understand and remember.

Project Duration :
1 week

Problem :
Maritime training and operational documentation often contain complex technical information that can be difficult to understand through text alone. Equipment, procedures, safety requirements, and technical concepts need to be communicated clearly while leaving little room for misunderstanding. The challenge was to transform this information into visuals that were accurate, structured, and immediately understandable.

Solution :
I created a variety of custom illustrations, technical drawings, diagrams, infographics, and explanatory visuals tailored to each subject. Depending on the requirement, I used different visual approaches—from simplified illustrations for quick understanding to detailed technical drawings where accuracy was essential. The goal was always to make complex information more accessible without losing the important technical details.

Challenge :
One of the biggest challenges was finding the right balance between technical accuracy and visual simplicity. Maritime subjects can involve specialised terminology, equipment, procedures, and environments that require a strong understanding of the subject matter. Each visual also needed to work within existing training and brand guidelines while remaining clear and engaging for a diverse international audience.
Summary :
This collection demonstrates my ability to turn complex maritime and technical information into effective visual communication. It combines my experience in graphic design, technical illustration, eLearning, and maritime content, allowing me to approach each project from both a creative and practical perspective. The result is a library of visuals designed not only to look good, but to explain, educate, and support better understanding.
